Why I Like Baseball

I like baseball. Some of my friends find this amusing. In spite of my best efforts over the years I've convinced, I believe, none of them that they should join me. This is a story about my come to baseball moment, the night of October 14, 2003, in the city of Chicago.

Whitney

I had been writing and re-writing an essay about what it was like growing up in the 80's and 90's as a male named Whitney and as a result the effect that Whitney Houston had on my life. In February, when I heard the news that she died, I knew it was time to finish it.
